First of all, I really do like your blog a lot. I love the stories and find them well written, interesting and entertaining. Of course I really like the pics of hot guys!
The only thing "content-wise" I don't care for are the dick-girls but it's only because I'm not personally into that. It's certainly not anything that would deter me from reading or looking at the guys ;)
I love the new blog design. It's very clean and organized. Which reminds me that I really need to get my ass busy and finish up my own new theme for my blog. It's way too busy and cluttered. Plus I'm just sick of it! LOL
I only have two suggestion to throw your way (I hope you don't mind):
1) You might want to nix the Twitter updates as posts. The update is current (which is what Twitter is all about) on your sidebar is good enough. The updates as posts just adds a bunch of out-dated clutter that's of no use especially when scanning through posts for "real" content.
2) I've never been keen on registering on a personal blog. Personal blogs are difficult enough as it is to get people to comment on until you get a buttload of readers. When someone does decide to leave a comment and they see they have to register, it can be a turnoff. I'm sure you probably have your reasons for requiring registration. If it's to deter spam, there are less cumbersome methods for your readers. If your goal is to build a personal network of friends on your personal blog then you might want to make that goal more accessible on your home page. Otherwise, the reasoning skips me. I'd be interested in knowing why, perhaps I'm missing something as I am fairly new to "personal" blogging myself.
Overall, you've got a great blog -- I'm hooked ;)
Thanks for the kind words. I read your blog just about every day as well (it's in my Google Reader).
Couple of things:
1) Twitter Updates - I like the fact that they're all archived by date. I think what I will do though is utilize the "Ignore Category on Front Page" (or whatever it's called) to keep the updates *off* the front-page.
2) Registration - I've got the Wordpress-OpenID plugin. I'm surprised more people don't use it. In fact, I use it myself to login as my admin account (http://cyberczar.myopenid.com/ for those who are interested in what they look like.)
Wish more sites used OpenID.
Anyways, thanks for the feedback!
Pax,
Mike
